What is Who's That??

Who's That? is a Wordle-shaped football deduction game. You guess an active footballer, and five colour-coded cells tell you how close you were on league, club, nationality, position and age. Six guesses, and every one of them narrows the field if you use it properly.

How to play Who's That?

Type any active footballer's name into the search bar.
After each guess, five cells reveal colour-coded clues: green = exact match, yellow = close, red = wrong.
An arrow on the birth-year cell shows whether the answer is older (↑) or younger (↓) than your guess.
You have 6 guesses. Get it right in as few attempts as possible.
Retired players can't be guessed — pick someone with a current club.

Who's That? strategy

Spend the first guess on information rather than on being right. A player from a league you suspect is worth far more than a wild stab at the answer, because locking the league green eliminates most of the field in one move. Learn what yellow actually means on each cell: yellow nationality is the same continent, not a near-miss on the country, and yellow position means the same broad role. The birth-year arrows compound — two consecutive up arrows bracket the answer between your two guesses, which is usually enough to finish inside six.

Start with a player from the league you suspect — locking the league early narrows the field fast.
A yellow nationality cell means same continent; a yellow position cell means same broad role (Defender / Midfielder / Forward).
Birth-year arrows compound: two ↑ arrows in a row mean the answer is older than both your guesses.
